Members of The St. Louis (MO), Gateway, and Archway Chapters joined together for the Annual Friendship Day Luncheon on Saturday, November 18.

“Celebrating the Power of Friendship,” was hosted by the St. Louis (MO) Chapter and co-chaired by Rochelle Calhoun and Dottie McDowell.   Several of the 80 attendees shared inspirational stories that reminded everyone to appreciate the power in acts of kindness, large and small. Dr. Lannis Hall, moderated a panel featuring renowned SSMHealth oncologist and author, Dr. Jovita Ugochi Oruwari, whose book, “Black Girls in White Coats,” was shared with all attendees.

A portion of the ticket proceeds went to St. Louis Crisis Nursery.
